Nora Borealis was my first girlfriend, and I her first boyfriend…real 4th grade romance. So I’m going to buy this CD because the truth is, life has never been as good as it was, since I dated her.

She had long tan legs and piercing BIG blue eyes. She got me going before I could even get going (if you know what I mean). We held hands during the movie Free Willy at the 53rd and Lyndale Boulevard Theater. No joke, our relationship was hot, and the sweat on our hands throughout the entire movie, as neither one of us dare be the first to pull away, proved it.

This entire romance started on the last day of 4th grade. We rode the bus home together, still wearing our Roller Blades from Saints Roller Rink field trip. She took my hand and printed (perfectly, naturally) her parents’ landline-telephone number. I got off the bus with all those feelings she described the CD with, took my Swiss Army Boy Scout pocket knife, and carved her name into my mom’s garage.

Hands down I felt amazing. Never would I have expected our love to fade away after she found out I flirted with another blond (though not nearly as pretty). Nora is tough, no joke. She’ll be damned if a boy two times her. I learned my lesson…but I still have those memories and damn if they don’t feel as awesome now as they did back IN THE early 90’s!

That’s what I’m think about when I play this CD!
